Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2003 and held postdoc positions at the University of Florida, Cornell University and MIT. He was then a Stephen Hawking Advanced Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Before moving to Harvard University, he was an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Chen's research interests include early universe models, primordial density perturbations, cosmic microwave background, large scale structure, dark matter, and string cosmology.
