        About
Kim-Vy Tran has been a professional astronomer for 20+ years and is the Associate Director for Internal Relations at the Center for Astrophysics. Prior to joining the Center for Astrophysics, she was a professor at the University of New South Wales, University of Zürich, and Texas A&M University. She received her PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and held postdoctoral fellowships at the Center for Astrophysics, Leiden Observatory, and ETH Zürich. Kim-Vy's astronomy research program advances our knowledge of how galaxies assemble over cosmic time by capitalizing on the high resolution, extreme sensitivity, and broad wavelength coverage of ground and space-based telescopes.
