Emma Allen

Emma Allen serves as the Stewardship and Events Manager on the Advancement team at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, where she leads strategic event planning and donor engagement initiatives that support the Observatory’s mission and community. She joined the SAO in 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in event management and public engagement. Emma began her career with Burlington Parks, Recreation and Waterfront, where she spent eight years designing and executing public events of all sizes. She later served as an Events Coordinator at Delaney Meeting & Event Management for three years, managing logistics and programming for regional and national conferences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from McGill University (2013) and earned her Master of Business Administration from Champlain College (2021).
