About

Elia's primary research focuses on the formation and evolution of galaxies and quasars. His work bridges numerical simulations and empirical models to study the growth of supermassive black holes and the evolution of quasar/AGN activity across cosmic time. He is particularly interested in how observations from cutting-edge facilities—including JWST, Euclid, pulsar timing arrays (PTAs), and LISA—can advance this understanding, utilizing diverse probes such as quasar spectra, clustering measurements, and gravitational wave signals.
