About
Ben Cassese is an astronomer at the Minor Planet Center with a background in solar system dynamics and transiting exoplanets. He is interested in developing high-precision dynamical models and linking them to observations collected by facilities such as JWST. He is originally from Rhode Island, received his B.S. from Caltech, and his PhD from Columbia. He is also interested in science communication and science policy; he has written several articles for outlets such as AAS Nova and Sky and Telescope Magazine, and he briefly interned at the National Academy of Sciences.
