Atilla Alkan
About
Atilla is a postdoctoral research fellow at NASA Astrophysics Data System team. He received in 2024 his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Paris-Saclay University, specialising in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for astrophysics. His research bridges language and astronomy, using NLP to extract information from scientific literature and enrich astrophysical domain knowledge. When he is not working with scientific texts, he enjoys exploring the art of tailoring and is learning the craft of making bespoke clothing.
